The Brand is a makeup brand, co-founded by our Co-founder and Purplle.
You know the feeling of being let in? The group chat where nothing’s off limits. The friend who tells you the actual trick of how to get the best outcome possible. The cousin who hands you her favourite tint and says just try it even though she is running out of it. The numerous inside jokes, passed-down secrets, the stuff you only learn from women who’ve got your back.
That’s the feeling The Brand is built to leave behind. Aspiration without intimidation, sisterhood.
It’s not only a feeling that The Brand invokes, it’s imbibed into the products too. This is makeup that also looks after your skin, the colours are expressive with no harm to your skin, and the care is real. Our makeup looks after your skin. It leaves your skin better than the way it found it. So you’re never choosing between looking good and being good to your skin.
The Brand carries the feeling of the Hindi word jaan, without spelling it the obvious way. So warmth and closeness are in the name from the start. And that meaning was never built for the brand, it was already there. Our Co-founder’s father used to call her mom jaan, so the name has a real, personal anchor behind it. The full stop matters too, it adds a small pause and a sense of certainty. You are The Brand.
The feeling we keep coming back to is aspiration without intimidation, being lifted without ever being made to feel small, the way a stranger reaches out to you before you’ve even asked for a helping hand. It’s something you look up to that’s still on your side.
A feeling like this has to show up in how we behave. So before any shade, price or caption, we ask ourselves one thing, is this how a sister would treat her?
Everything sits between ₹449 and ₹1,199.
Beauty is a paradox — and she refuses to pick a side. She’s saying: I can love glamour and still be serious. I can play into the gaze and still own myself. I can be soft and still be in control.
This push-and-pull tension is the brand’s spine.
The product is not the end goal — sisterhood is. The product is the entry ticket into a safe space: warmth, honesty, trade secrets, no gatekeeping, no judgement. It’s why the moodboards read as community-coded intimacy — hands, food, water, sunlight, rituals. Belonging, not just aesthetics.
Transparency is the differentiator. She’s explicitly anti-mythmaking. What’s real, what isn’t, what works, what doesn’t, what’s risky, what’s not worth it. This is rare — and it’s our signature behaviour.
For her, sensuality isn’t for approval — it’s joyful. Sun on skin, fruit, water, gold. This is the language of life; it’s her saying I’m alive.
Beauty as friendship and inheritance — familial and not. Mother to daughter, but also woman to woman. Tips shared like secrets.
This is our community engine.
